Check what you need
Prepare a Windows PC, the correct architecture, Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable, and a supported game file.

Download the Windows build
Open GitHub Releases and choose the Windows asset matching your CPU. Avoid copied file names from old guides.

Install Visual C++ Redistributable
Install the Microsoft runtime before launching the app.

Extract and run the app
Extract the release package if needed, then run the Windows app from the extracted folder.

Choose the game file
When prompted, select a supported game file.
Common Windows errors
Invalid disc image
Dusklight cannot use the selected game file.
- >Check that the file is a North American NTSC or European PAL GameCube image.
- >If the file still fails, compare its region/version and checksum against a trusted dump reference, then select a clean matching file.
Selected game not supported
The app rejects the selected game after launch.
